I have a mitsubishi eclipse 1999 and i change the alternator and the battery but i always have 2 jump it off?
u prolly have a short some where in ur wiring, u should go to a mechanic and get it checked out.dat would b da best thing to do. good luck

Just because you change the alternator doesn't mean the one that you put on is working. It sounds like you either did not hook all of the wires back up. Or the alternator is not charging.
make sure something isnt left on!!!
Sometimes the armature for the starter gets stuck this will cause battery drain.
if the voltage regulator is external. it may be bad and this would keep it from charging the battery
Check the voltage regulator, either that or you have a really bad short somewhere. Check your wiring and make sure that you don't have any bare wires touching any metal.
