Where is my alternator located?

I have a 1991 nissan maxima. I can change an alternator, i've done it before, but i just can't FIND it on this car!

bottom of the engine close to the firewall passenger side.look thru the wheel well passenger side.

it usually is located on the left hand side of the engine block near the starter
try following the cables from the battery and looking at the belts you should be able to see it if it not on the top its from the under
That is one crazy statement to make.
Under the hood. Pop the hood and look down UNDER the engine, left side. Look for the belt and follow it.
