make it easier to work on i have done alternators on other cars this one seems to tight to work on
On a 98 chevy van express to change the alternator it is very tight in there is there something to remove to?
only easy way i know of is to have someone else do it sometimes it's easier to get at from under the vehicle good luck

it takes patience and il give you a hint, on some of them you will find a third bolt on the back to the intake manifold that will just make your mind hurt.
